Good Day, Good Friends

Today was a good day. Two friends and I went to Charm to visit Miller's Dry Goods. It's a great place to do fabric shopping. We didn't buy a lot of fabric, we are trying to only buy in order to complete projects. Like that's gonna last!

I had a surprise in the mail when I got home. There was a package from Terry of Atkinson Designs. I won a giveaway at Terry's blog. Thanks again to Terry for her generosity. I can't wait to try out the patterns.

Tomorrow, our guild is going to decorate the local library with quilts. That's always fun. I think we've done it at least once a year for the past 5 years. Guess I'll have to go to bed early tonight so I can be up early to help.

I should have several quilts to show you in my next post. I've been busy sewing but not taking pics. Soon they will be on here.

Accu Quilter Dies

Just wanted to let anyone reading this blog know that the quilt shop I work for is having a sale on the dies for the Accu Quilter. She has everything discounted generously. If anyone is interested, please leave me a message and I will let you know the price of the die or dies you are intersted in purchasing.

I did finally finish the Bears In The Farmhouse quilt that I did as a quilt along with Judy. If it hadn't been for this quilt along, I probably would have never put stripes in any of my quilts. Thanks, Judy!

I'm A Winner!

I couldn't sleep tonight, so I've been hopping around blogland. I just discovered that I won a prize in the Minnesota Quilt Designer Blog Hop. Check out Terry's blog, she has wonderful patterns. I've made several of her quilts.
